Asians in Music Present Sandbox

An incredible opportunity offered in 2022
SANDBOX was a fully-funded programme to allow Pan-Asian-Kiwi bands and artists to learn how to navigate songwriting and recording.
The 8 chosen acts walked away with a professionally mixed track and a live performance of their song

Collab Writing Sessions

Paired with an established Pan-Asian-Kiwi artist / producer / songwriter, you will have two sessions together to write a song.

Demo Recording Session

Work with our team to make a demo of your song and further develop the production elements of your song.

Final Studio Recording

Final recording session at a fully-equipped studio, working with a recording engineer (and sessions musicians as needed!).

Mix Session

Your song will be mixed by a professional mix engineer, who will also provide a feedback session to discuss the direction and intention of the mix with the artist.

Live Performance

A live gig will be held at Movespace’s Rooftop venue to give the artists an opportunity to showcase their work in front of an audience.
